We have discussed 'this woman' ad nauseam. Please refer to the earlier threads which will be easily found as they are only a little down the list of threads. Thanks for your enquiry. :)

I don't think too many agree. We have discussed this already ad infinitum.

Also, this week she was censured by her Bishop and ordered not to participate in Priestly or Diaconate functions for one year while she contemplates her belief.

The woman was censured by her bishop. If she doesn't recant, she'll be inhibited and excommunicated.

Guys this person has been doing the same thing over on Fundamentalist Churches forum he is simply attempting to veil debate as questions.

Guys this person has been doing the same thing over on Fundamentalist Churches forum he is simply attempting to veil debate as questions.I'm asking about it here because MrJim at the Fundamentalist forum suggested that I ask the Anglicans about it. So I did. Go back to the Fundamentalist forum and read what MrJim had to say. That wasn't very nice trying to get me in trouble like that.

I apologize if I misrepresented you.

Read the other threads you will find your answers there.

And in case you didn't know she has been censured by her Bishop.

Most of us are disgusted and angry about it. Most of us defend the one gospel of Christ.

(BTW Guys, this isn't a rule violation anymore get used to it ;))

The new policy isn't in effect yet as far as I know. Logically, therefore, the current rules are still de facto law.

Thanks for the link, Diane. That was very interesting.

Here's a thought. If we made disavowing "this woman's" concept the one and only criterion for membership on STR, we'd have no one here left out and feeling excluded, not liberal Anglicans, conservatives, Anglo-Catholics, Evangelicals, whatever.

Maybe we should have a Holmianism subforum.

I think that this woman's spirituality is beautiful. I especially liked her description at the end of the article in the OP, about seeing God through Jesus. Beautiful.

Spirituality, but not Christianity.

Hindu sprirituality is also beautiful, but it is not Christian either.
