How about... Smegul...the Sm is pronounced like the beginning of small.... the e is long vowel as in the word easy ... and the gul is pronounced like the end of the word eagle.
Maybe all that made sense the way I explained that.

I used to have a cat named Muffin, but he loved to go outside and roll in the dirt and get dirty. So we nicknamed him Muffler. Also had cats named: Dusty, Noisebox (He never stopped meowing), Porcupine, Mixed-up-Socks (His front paws were black and white, his hind paws white and black. so it looked like his socks were on the wrong feet.)

We've had several cats over the years.... And I used to have a Beta named Bubba.
