I am not sure how the changes friend Erwin has outlined will affect STR, But I have no plans to leave. For now, the moderator staff remains in place. In the near future, the way moderators are selected will change. It looks as though STR will elect their own moderators. I am not absolutely sure how this will work, but I am sure it will all turn out OK.
Until that change, I will still be here if any of you need anything. The rules we have been posting under are changing also, and I ask your patience during this time. I will continue to try hard to moderate this forum in a fair and objective manner, but I admit my imperfections.
God Bless all here!

Thank you for staying and for continuing to moderate, Peter.
I, too, am staying.

Peter when the popularity contest method of choosing staff is implemented I hope that the members here are clear headed enough to give you their confidence.
For those who don't know Peter has been one of your strongest and most steadfast advocates. He is truly a man of Christ who seeks Christ in everyone he meets.
Please give him your cooperation and confidence he deserves it.

Remember what happened in the Bible when something was put to a popular vote...Barabbas the murderer was set free, and Jesus was put to death on a cross.
Remember that was part of God's plan?

That's a concern for me as well... since when was Christian duty about being popular? I thank you for your willing to stay on though, Longhair.
What are the new posting rules?

Friend Prodigal Seeker,
We have not been given the new posting rules as of yet. We have only been told that they are to be simplified. Friend Erwin had said that the changes will happen within the month.
I will post the new rules as soon as I get them.
