What is the difference between a Methodist and a Nazarene?
(except the latter having a nicer CF icon) ;)

From what I can gather, there seems to be a greater focus on holiness in the Nazarene church then in Methodism. That's my take from an UMC perspective.

I'd say that in the spectrum of things, Nazarenes would also be counted as predominantly low church with some in the middle and Methodists are generally in the middle with some being high church. This, of course, does heavily depend on where you are and what the prevailing trend in that region is.
Maybe because of that, Nazarenes are a whole lot more likely to get the 'Evangelical' (in the modern sense) label than Methodists are.

I was going to say something about being more conservative. So I guess I would agree about the evangelical label. I don't consider that a bad thing either.
It is my impression that as Nazarenes we tend toward the less formal and less liberal side of issues. But I don't have enough experience with Methodists to really base that on.

Not sure, but they are named after me, so that has got to be something. :) My middle name is Wesley.
