This is real. :crossrc:

My heart goes out to Palestinian children. Life must be so difficult for them.

They have been indoctrinating their children with videos like this for years.

They have embedded their hatred so deeply that there is absolutely no hope at all for peace.

This is old news, but it is indeed very sad.

Thank God Hamas was kicked out of power. Hopefully now we can get back on the road to peace and the establishment of Palestine.

Hamas is now in control of Gaza.

I doubt it will last: the moderate Fatah and Israel will probably work together to drive them out, and I suspect that the "legality" of Hamas in Palestinian-controlled territory is going to be...of interest to watch in the coming days.

I do believe that there is going to be a new budding of cooperation: both Israel and the Palestinians have new governments at the same time and have a common enemy. If they are wise (and I'm glad of what has occurred so far between them), they will keep the pace and good will up.

The problem is that wether or not they have official political power, they have significant influence over the hearts and minds of the people.

there are many palestinians who just want to live in peace and see their kids better off than they were. I met some of them when I was there.
However, there are also many who have been raised with this kind of indoctrination into hatred and they will never settle for peace with Israel.

In the end, it doesn't matter if a propped up government signs a peace treaty. If the people themselves don't want it, there will be no peace.

True enough, but a treaty and two states is progress in the right direction.
