What are your favorite three books of the bible?Mine are Amos,Revelations and John. The reasons i like Amos i s because of Gods judgement on injustice.Revelation just plain strikes me as interesting.I like John because it is different from the other three gospels.

aaaa, I can't choose :) God has used different books for different seasons. When I was first new Christian, Matthew, Luke, Revelation were my favorite. Then it was Isaiah, Genesis (what a soap opera), and the Gospels. Now I am really learning from Zechariah and the minor prophets. The whole Bible is my favorite, I just can't pick 3!!! :) I hope that's okay

I like 1 John because its all about the love of God.

I like Micah because I don't believe it is coincidence that I was named after the prophet. I like 6:8, and also chapter 7.

I like James because I think its important to remember that while we are saved through faith, our works must follow as an example of our faith. Faith without works is no faith at all.
We should be doers of the word and not hearers only.

John, cause it contains my favorite verse (15:13) and lots of other good stuff

2. Corinthians, cause there are some passages there that goes down your spine as ice - or is it fire?

Revelation of John, cause I had my most special encounter with Jesus and the Spirit when reading it

without a doubt it has to be Matthew, Corinthians and more than the others by far, the tiny little book of Jude particularly verses 24 and 25.

My faves are Jeremiah - because tells me that he has a plan for my life in 29:11:
Jeremiah 29:11: (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%201:8;&version=31;)
"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the LORD. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Acts - because in 1:8 the Disciples received the Holy Spirit: Acts 1:8: (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%201:8;&version=31;)
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

And finally, 1 Corinthians - just because it is the chapter that I turn to for guidance more than any others.

Be Blessed!

It's hard to pick, but I'm going to say John, Psalms, and Proverbs.

John is good, hard, redemptive truth. Absolutism and grace perfectly interwoven.

Psalms is all about personal relationships with God.

Proverbs is one of the most practical books in Scripture, if not the most practical.
