People think it's so hard to tell others about Christ & God!
It's NOT so hard.
Tell and explain to them (in your own words):
That God is real and serious!
That God sent His Son to literally die of you and me, so OUR SINS could be forgiven... so our DEBT would be paid.
That God defated sin and death and He did it all because He loves you more than you could ever imagine!
So... how hard is that!?

Man, I've been getting messages from all over the place (men's group, radio, tv, the forum) to step up the evangelism.
I've spent waaay too long in a "must fix me first" mentality. Every Biblical hero was flawed, and had they waited `till they were perfect to do God's will, they would never have done anything.

How true Kelly... aren't we blessed that God meets us "in our sin" or as I like to say "as we are today!" instead of waiting for us to get it all together. When I read scripture I see broken and imperfect people doing extraordinary things for God and with God.
Personally, I'm done waiting for orders... I'm pushing on and expecting God to keep His word. He has told me to go forward and He would always be there for me, in and with His power. I just KNOW He will bless my love-efforts!
His,
Rev J

Our witness is and should be our life. If we are living primarily to please God, then we will be seeking to do so in everything that we think and in everything that we do. Can we do very much? On our own we cannot, but if we are truly surrendering our will to His not just daily, but continuously, He will provide what is needed to do what we need to do. If we put Him first in everything, He will bless us (speak well of us) and we as a result will bless others with what He has given us.
All of our prayers should include what Jesus included when He was praying to have the 'cup pass from [Him]'.
This because too often what we ask for in prayer may not be what is really necessary in God's eyes according to His will. Therefore we should always request that it be according to His will rather than ours:
"...nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." Matt 26:39

100% right "ama"... What a team we make, God and His spirit filled empowered children. Together we CAN and shall make the difference He intends!

Being a witness isn't something you acheive, it's something you ARE. You are a witness to the degree that you see Jesus. Therefore, as always, let your focus be on HIM, not on yourself or what you can do for him. That will come all by itself as you are transformed into his image. :)

Where I live everyone has already heard the message. So instead I live the message, as best I can.
Francis of Assisi, once said, "Preach the Gospel - use words if necessary!"
However I am an active participate in apologetics forum. I try my best there to uphold the truth of God.

I agree.
"Tell and explain to them (in your own words):
That God is real and serious!"
One thing we must do when presenting truths about God to a non-believer is assume the non-believer knows absolutely nothing about God. So to start, who is God?
"That God sent His Son to literally die of you and me, so OUR SINS could be forgiven... so our DEBT would be paid."
Who is God's Son and why did He have to die? First, tell the person what a sin is, and why sinning against God is bad. Tell them what the punishment for even commiting one sin against God is. Tell them why our sins need to be forgiven.
"That God defated sin and death and He did it all because He loves you more than you could ever imagine!"
This is called grace, explain this as well.
"So... how hard is that!?"
It's not hard at all. A great book to read for further information on this is Hell's Best Kept Secret by Ray Comfort. Available at www.livingwaters.com (http://www.livingwaters.com) After reading this book you should be able to tell someone about the law and gospel in about three minutes and plant the seeds necessary to produce soundly saved Christians.
