But I don't know.. they must taste really bad! Or my search engine is junk. I know hunters kill penguins for their pelts, but I can't find anything about eating the meat. Why?

I would imagine they taste more like fish simply because that is mostly what they eat. They probably would taste bad though. Their very fatty too.

Strange question for a Christian forum, but nice diversion...

Researches in Antartica eat penguin. They report that it tastes like duck becaues of the high oil content.

If you've never had duck before, the meat is dark. It tends to be quite tender for poultry meat and its VERY greasy. If it's overcooked to try to get as much grease out as possible, it can be very dry and somewhat tough.
