Formal Debate Invite: Dispensationalism and Replacement Theology

I would be particularly interested in debating a Catholic in the area of dispensationalsim, seeing as I've never heard one on this topic.

I will take the defense of dispensationalist theology. :)Formal debate invite!??! Whoa..lol I'm not much of a debater. I was hoping to discuss things in the IDD board, not specifically here on this page. I guess that explains why I'm late in responding here ;)

Anyway, I don't know what you specifically want to discuss. Plus, I actually have a stronger emphasis on eschatology, not so much all the other topics. I don't know how well I can defend what I believe, but it'll further give me an understanding of what dispensationalism is about (unfortunately there's a lot about dispensationalism that I don't know about). When I mentioned dispensationalism is a previous post elsewhere, I was referring to premillenial dispensationalism. So anyway, how are we going to do this?

I'd prefer just discussing it here, not through a formal debate.

Never debated it, but I've read up on it, and have experience debating other topics like Calvinism.

I, personally, would NOT be able to separate eschatology from this discussion. They're strongly linked, so yes, I'd prefer to discuss premillannial (pretribulational) dispensationalism.

To be honest, I don't like formal debates. Plus, I don't know exactly how to go about debating formally LOL

In any case, I guess I'll start a debate sometime, I just don't know what to debate for or against. And I happen to be a bit busy these days as school is well under way. But I'll have to read over the debate rules and such.

Honestly, I think it'd be MUCH easier to discuss in the Interdenominational Dialogue (IDD). But I guess it's up to you :)

By the way, I might be slow in responding for the next few days or so. Hopefully I can find some time =)
