Okay, will all the strife lately, we need some praisin' goin' on...cause Abba is truly merciful, wonderful and loving to His children.

In our lives right now:

He's healing a breach in our marriage and providing security for us. He's given me a wonderful friend who encourages me and even puts up with my failings :)

What are some of the things Abba is doing in your lives?

A tornado ran through my area 3 miles from my farm. Devastated our community but not one tree, one leaf on our place was overturned. Thank you Lord for sparing us.

Awesome Skippys!

uhmmmmmmmm..... I'm alive and well!

We took possession of our apartment today (me in abstentia), though we had the keys to it for a week... and we've been offered furniture to keep, and some to borrow until we can afford to ship all of my household goods...

I have a wedding shower-tea to go to tomorrow, which I am already sure is a blessing in and of itself ;)

Our honeymoon plans are almost solidified (just have to figure out whether or not to make the reservations refundable or not), and My hubby is recovering nicely from his surgery a week ago this wednesday!

Whereas a couple of weeks ago I felt physically bad enough that I had hoped to be called home, today I feel wonderful - better than in years, actually. With Abba's help I have been able to accomplish more than I could have expected and plans are moving along swiftly. I'm ready for the next enemy attack and will thwart it by the power of Yeshua!

And we are going to get rain for the first time in a couple of months. Thank you, Abba, for the tropical depression!

Tornado? I hate tornados - they are soooo sneaky. I spent the better part of every spring in the 1970's in my basement in Ohio!

My chickens are all healthy and I have more than I need. Have a buyer coming this morning to look at a couple of hens and at my prototype chicken tractor. If she decides to have me build one for her it would cover the cost of the chicken feed for a year!

Of course I would only have the strength to build one if Avinu Shebashamayim heals me. And I have complete faith that He will.

And another praise - about a 1/3 of our garden got planted on Friday and I was able to go out and help plant a dozen or so strawberry plants, and a few artichokes too. So nice to be able to get my hands in the soil. (My dad did the rest of the planting.)

I am content, and happy just because I know Yeshua. I can't say my life is the way I want it, I cann't even say that I am spiritually where I would like to be, but I can say that where I am the Lord has blessed me with contentment. I do not worry, have no anxieties, do not suffer the aches and pains of people my age, and for the most part have most of my brain power still functioning. I have a good husband, while not being a believer is still a good man. I could be looking at the down side of my life and say that I wish, I want, I... I... I... but I don't because Yeshua has given me contentment. One of the best blessings a person can have. Thank you Lord, it is one of my treasured gifts that you have given me, and I know I would be a mess without it.

Wags: That's great news, where He provides windows, He provides strength :prayer:

visionary: That's the best any of us can ask for...contentment in His will and grace

Please, could anyone tell me whether the way my CF character is dressed and everything could be found offensive to somebody?

Many thanks. But do you really see what she is holding in her left hand? I put together a menorah and a crucifix. Just as symbols. It is that I wonder about.

This is part of my stand for Israel:

I read your posts - I know that you love Israel.

She is holding a beautiful menorah! My sense is that you might get more flak from Christians than Messianic believers.

Yep, I saw...
His sacrifice is the basis of our faith, His resurrection the seal of our faith...and He was of Israel...
She's lovely :)
