What I don’t understand is, if we needed Christ to go to heaven, did all the Jews go to Hell before he came? Do the Jews need to accept Christ as well? Wasn't there a prayer the yhad for forgivness of sins? This is confusing to me. Thank you.

Those that lived prior to the first comming of Messiah looked forward in faith to His coming and the redemption He would bring. Just as we do now, they repented of their sins and asked for forgiveness.

Thank you. But it seems now the he has come, that is why the Jews need to accept him. I am asking for undertsanding because I am married into a Jewish family who are not religious. Yo uwould think it would be a celebration but many want to deny. That was predicted though.
I also think as a gentile, I would not have known repentance if not for Jesus. Your post makes this more clear to me.
I hope that this is not a stupid question but gentiles did not repent b4 Jesus came. Jewish people knew to repent for sin. What is the redemption that the Jewish folk have that they did not have b4? Were they going down the wrong track or getting distracted? Thank you

There have always been a few gentiles that were drawn to Israel to love and serve her G-d.
Scriptures says that the only way to salvation is through Messiah, and it also says that "all of Israel" will be saved. Personaly I'm not sure how all will be saved, but I'm sure G-d does.

Rahab the harlot was counted righteous by her faith... and she was not an Israelite, but she believed in the Israelite G-d. She ended up in Messiah's blood line.
It's Always been about faith~ whether it's faith in the Coming Messiah before Yeshua/Jesus, or once He came, Yeshua/Jesus.

I think I see a separation..a line and there is none. We are all together in Gods word and in Christ. And maybe that is all we need to know.
