One rule;

Anything negative will be removed.

Post one thing that you like about Messianic Judaism. I know it may be difficult, but we'll take turns posting one thing you like. Wait till someone else post before you post again, at least try to wait a couple of minutes. :P

Ditto...!

No longer kicked down and called names and told I can't have or can't reach what is told to us is "freely given to all".

I will answer the question, but I have a couple of questions, too.

Are all the people here Jewish? If not, or even if so, I wonder why people here are referring to "Messianic Judaism."

Just wondering. I am not Jewish, as most Messianics are not. In the Scriptures we are not told to become part of Judah (though I certainly think that is nothing to sneeze at or anything) but we are told to become part of Israel.

What I like about being Messianic is feeling like that "something is missing" feeling I vaguely had at Church is being filled in.

Now, please, I do ask anyone to let me know if this is, indeed, a place just for those who are Jewish and Messianic. I certainly would not be a bit offended and would not post here any further.

I like that there are now a large and growing number of Jewish people who believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world;

I like that MJ has bought together Jews and non-Jews who have a shared vision for Jewish revival; and

Most importantly, I like how MJ introduces our Jewish brothers and sisters to the Jewish Messiah Yeshua.

I like seeing a prophetic move of God's Spirit among the Jewish people, as myriads of Jews come to faith in Jesus, or Yeshua, as the promised Messiah.

I like how MJ is playing a key role in drawing Jewish people back to their God through Yeshua.

I like seeing the outpouring of God's Spirit upon our Jewish people through Messianic congregations.

I like that there is a movement of JEWISH people who have turned there hearts to Yeshua, like me. :cool:

Shimshon hits the nail on the head. I first attended Messiah in 1999. There I heard a leading Messianic Jewish rabbi define Messianic Judaism (I'm quoting from memory, so a paraphrase) as: The endtime working of the Holy Spirit with Jews as Jews. According to the rabbi this definition was first enunciated in 1975.

My friend you have asked some good questions. In order for the members to answer them however they would have to post off topic of the original post which they cannot do due to CF Rules. May I invite you to open a new thread with your questions so that members may answer them?
