Prayers for me and those in Los Angeles with the flu

I just came home from a hospital stay due to a particularly bad gastrointestinal virus.

Many students are sick with this virus which first hits the stomach and then leaves you with bronchitis, etc.

The hospital I was in was filled to capacity and I had to wait for a bed before I was admitted.

Is this the same virus that afflicted the East Coast USA a few weeks back?

Lord have mercy on Aria and all afflicted with this virus. I just learned some people I know in the Bay Area also have this flu.
