You are on the right track, taking nothing for face value. Searching the scriptures to find more and more ways to obey Him, constantly thinking of Him and His ways. Reminding yourself daily that you are in the same movement that everyone in the bible was in. Oh that we should be like Him, crying out day and night show me more of you, more of Thee less of me. Not stopping till you live like Him, talk like Him, believe like Him then and only then will you begin looking like Him and people around you will for the first time in their lives see Him...in you...you will hear them whisper as they pass ..."I THOUGHT I SAW JESUS".

oooOh! Looking like Jesus! This reminds me of something!

I once got a seriously painful kink in my neck to the point of wanting pain medication to knock me unconscious. I was in dire need of relief.

I asked my neighbor's girl to lay hands on me and pray for healing, just as Jesus did. Knowing she had recently been baptized by the Holy Spirit, was happily praying in tongues, (EVEN THOUGH she was only fifteen and still looking like a wild teenager).....I was trusting in the authority of the Spirit of Christ and the POWER of the Holy Spirit.

She cautiously touch me, prayed in tongues a bit and BAM! The pain INSTANTLY left and I was healed. Just like that! I got healed and this girl was reminded of the power of the One who resides in her.

I love how God uses even the meek, the young and the unsure as they're being sanctified in their souls, though perfected in their spirits.

(hebrews 10 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. )

If I were to speak like someone in the 21 century. I would be saying its all love, mercy and grace. Just believe that Jesus was the Christ and we are on our way to heaven...(the demons believe Jesus was the Christ does that mean they are going to heaven to ? "could it be there is more to it ?"
