I recently found a record in my closet of Rev. Bob Harrington called 'Chaplain of Bourbon Street'. For those of you who haven't heard of it, I highly recommend listening to it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can suggest other testimony and sermon records I could look into. I appreciate preachers that really get into their sermons too. That's kind of bordering on baptist preaching I guess, but I'm still putting it out there. Thanks

I love John Haggee! He will tell it like it is without compromise.....
Joyce Meyer--! Not near as passionate as John, but I can relate very much to her painful childhood..Great teacher!!
T.D.Jakes--He breaks down issues in a way I never hear in churches today! He has really helped me see a lot of things about my life/behaviors that I don't know if I would have learned any other way.
Noel Jones--His style is intoxicating, while very anointed and he is full of knowledge of the word.
David Jeremiah--Great bible Teacher
Not all Baptist preachers..but..lol:tutu:

Martin Luther King Jr.
Many discount him as just a political activist. Dr. King had an awesome insight into the heart of man, and wrote some amazing sermons.

Please don’t make any presumptions of me for posting this link, it would probably be dead wrong. It’s interesting how people miss the facts, I was blown away when I discovered the truth of the matter, myself, as was the writer of the research paper as well when she uncovered it.

I'll have to go back and read those sermons I have. My men's group did a study, and none of us picked up on any issue. I can say that when I read them the first time, I never doubted his faith. I was always amazed of his love of those who hated him.
But I also know that many would have liked to destroy him.
So take it for what it's worth.

So take it for what it's worth. At least for myself, it’s not a matter of wanting to destroy him or anything like that. His civil work was fine and much needed imo, but as a minister of the Gospel of Christ this was another matter, one that may have actually been in complete conflict with essential sound doctrine.
