View Full Version : Do some posters have too much time on their hands?

I looked in here and noticed that every single thread is started by reddogs. Does anyone think he has too much time on his hands if he is menopolizing the entire Denomination-specific Theology Thread ;) ?

Please note, no need to answer, this thread is intended as HUMOR.

Or, he could have done lots of work, saved it one his computer and then simply cuts-and-paste up here for us to read. Note that many are quite short. Probably doesn't take much time at all to whip them up. Not like mine that take 2 and half to five years (and still not done!) to work up!

Let's see, had to go to area planning meeting on monday, school board on tuesday, civic association on wednesday, friends over to check their site prep on thursday, go to a eniment domain meeting on friday and leave before sundown, then we also signed off and shipped our software last week, so that was my week.

For the month, I had to fight the fires that raged on the farm at the begining of the month, buy and dig in all the fence post that burned, rebuild the gates that burned, I have to take down every pine tree that burned (502) before it falls, and purchase a wheel loader to take them down with, I have to redo the fence and barb wire, prepare for Bible Study and Lesson, get fitted for upcoming wedding, and build a secure fully enclosed pen for the goats.....

Other than that, I have nothing to do till Memorial Day Weekend...........

David, you're right. It is a lot easier to cut and paste the work of others, rather than to construct and post your own thoughts. One requires some amount of intelligence, while the other requires nothing other than being able to press CTRL+C, and CTRL+V. No thinking power is needed. It's really just plagiarism.

If he wants to post more often what harm is done?

As to using cut and paste, if that is how he best feels he can present himself, and he gives his sources, then it doesn't matter.

I'm sure it's allowed within the rules here (large cut and pastes), but it isn't discussion. Although, one of the many warnings I received on the SDA boards was in connection with posting more than 20% of my post with the words of others (even though it was 100% cited Scripture).

Whether cut and paste or questions posed, if it is to edify and give truth and show God's love for us, more are blessed and it is much better than just arguing for no purpose or just to proudfully display their intellectual ability to provoke anger or incite hate which many here do..........

Jesus is the truth, and He alone is worthy of our praise. Much time is spent, whether through cut and paste or questions asked, promoting aberrant, uniquely distorted views of Scripture to promote a denomination rather than Christ himself. Some of these denominations view themselves as having the 'truth' or calling themselves the 'remnant' of God, while calling all other Christians 'daughters of the harlot', all the while not realizing that they're fighting against the body of Christ (true church) instead of preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost (the world).

I wonder how much anger and hate is promoted by this eliteist mentality and judgment coming from groups who claim to be Christian?

Scripture itself makes clear what is lawlessness, but evil tries to suppress it......
