Christ is risen! Hey folks. My church is having an online fundraiser. We're currently selling magazine subscriptions. All magazines are family appropriate and subscriptions are up to 90% off the news stand price.

If any of you are itching for some monthly reading material, click here (http://www.magfundraising.com/GroupPage.aspx?e=1068161) and help us out! You can also renew any current subscriptions you may already have. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

*looks around and hopes he didn't miss a 'no soliciting' sign in TAW*

I don't think it's anything bad about it... it's not like you're forcing anyone here to buy anything. I'd rather do it for a church than just buy them anyways...

Now, everyone off to buy Western Lifestock weekly :P

Well, there is a no soliciting sign, but I will look the other way, since I'll be picking up SewNews at a good price for a good cause ;)

I almost ordered Western Wildstock but settled for Veggie times and Backyard Living... like I need more magazines. Aaaaah!!!! Leading me into temptation like that. :P

I was looking for Veggie times but didn't find it. I guess I'll look again.

You've gotta look under View All Categories and you get the whole shebang. :)

I am looking through your magazines. However, I'm looking for a good Victorian decorating type of magazine. Haven't found one, yet. :)

Too bad Victoria Magazine met its demise :(

I have been thinking about getting NewsWeek or Time as I need to read something on paper more ... away from this computer!

But I can't decide which one....

Which one do you'll prefer?

(I did see that Foreign Policy Magazine... that looks interesting to me as well... has anyone read it?)

I've had Foreign Policy. It's ok, but as for overall stuff, Newsweek or Time are good. One leans one way, the other one the other way...
Personally I prefer the Economist (the US edition) and I would have ordered it if they had it but it's hard to get a good deal on it. I've had to read it for several of my geography classes and enjoyed it.
