Pasta Soup

1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 lg. bell pepper, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
2 cups water
2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp. each, dried oregano, basil and thyme
6 oz. dried pasta
salt and pepper to taste

Remove sausage from casing, crumble, and brown. Add onion, bell pepper and garlic. Saute until tender. (You may need to add some olive oil, if the sausage is lean.) Drain fat from sausage and vegetables, if necessary, and add tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Stir in bouillon granules and seasonings. Add dried pasta, and simmer until pasta is tender. Serve with parmesan.

Good!

Started off by going to the pet centre to buy a cat harness (my daughter thinks she can train our cat to go for walkies...:doh: ). Had lunch there, too. They have a little cafe.
Then went to church for the Last Hour at the Cross. Very good contemplative service with a lot of silence for meditation. :thumbsup:
Came home and finished up that second essay. :clap:
My daughter made the supper, and now the two kids are next door watching a DVD with the neighbour's kids and DH is out flying his model aeroplane. It's peaceful and tranquil here!

My son has been in his room most of the day, playing piano, music, singing - chilling out :) And I have been relaxing - doing some cross-stitching and reading.
