Outside Commentary on Baptism Debate

I thought that since no one was really commenting on the ongoing debate over the necessity of baptism in salvation, I would make sure everyone knows that they can comment in this section of the forum. So anyone wanting to discuss what is going on in the debate, feel free to use this thread in doing so.

Well, the participants, of whom I was one, agreed to stop it because there were some basic things that had to be sorted out first. Those who were on the negative for the first part of the debate were both Calvinists, so before we could all really talk about baptism there were some other things that had to be discussed first, like total hereditary depravity.

If you're willing to debate this I'm sure that gqaggie and myself would be more than willing to participate with you and someone else. We could even use the same format and rules from the last debate to keep things simple. Please let me know if you're interested as this is something we would both probably like to do.

No, I don't have the time, and I start my second semester of grad school next monday. I can do debates when school gets out, maybe.
