"Jacob" - 4/7 9:00 a.m. Pushing for baptism, and not just chrismation, because the denomination I was baptized in is not even Nicene in its beliefs (Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)) per their Webpage, even though I was immersed in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - I think (1977).

Me (patron saint is Righteous Juliana of Lazarevo) and my husband (his patron saint is St. John of Kronstadt). We're both scheduled to be recieved by chrismation on Holy Saturday this year, April 7. It's getting close. I'd really appreciate your prayers. Y'all may not know me that well, but this forum has really been a help to me. Thank you.
Edited to add:
Just thought I ought to update this post. We were christmated as planned. Thank you all for your prayers.

I'll be entering the church on Holy Saturday (April 7th). Oh yeah, you can call me Al and as of right now I'm going to stick with St. Alanus (aka St. Alain) of Laveur, Gascony. My other choices are St. Gregory of Nyssa, and Elder Porphyrius (author of Wounded by Love). But chances are I'll stick with St. Alanus.
Peace.

Hi! My name's Thor, my patron saint is St. Mark the Evangelist, and Lord willing, I'll be chrismated sometime later this year. I've been a catechumen since December 2006.
Please also pray for my family, as my wife (a Pentecostal) is unsupportive of my calling to Orthodoxy.

Hang in there Thor! I was Pentecostal also and very unsupportive of my husband's calling to Orthodoxy! After many times of saying I would not go to church with him, etc........I became Orthodox (it took about 18 months for this to happen for me after he expressed his interest in Orthodoxy)! Like many told my husband..........JUST BE PATIENT and don't push your wife! She will come around! God bless and welcome! :crosseo::liturgy:

Real name is Timothy, patron saint is St. Patrick the Apostle to Ireland. All of the people in the church call me Patrick at this point. :P
Wife's real name is Heather patron saint is St. Margaret (Marina) of Antioch.
We don't know when we will be chrismated. We are hoping for some time in June but Archbishop Dimitri of Dallas and the South prefers a year wait for catechumens and one of the two priests for our mission agrees with him. So we'll see. :crosseo:

Should probably check in, since I am going to be formally made a catechumen along with my fiancee at any time now - it's just been "unofficial" thus far.
My name is Salvatore, my fiancee's Lauren. Chrismation will be sometime before July 2008, since that is when we are to be married, God-willing. No patron saint yet for me - been thinking about St. Paul or St. Stephen the Martyr.

Update:
My mother named me after the Holy Prophet-King David, and I have always felt a closeness to him for that reason. Fr. John and I discussed this and both agreed that it would be good to retain this connection. It's a great comfort to know that a Saint in heaven has willingly opened his heart to my prayers and with me bears them before God's throne...
Through the prayers of the Holy Prophet-King David, O Savior, save us!

I am to be received into the Church through holy baptism this Saturday, December 15th, at 2 p.m.
I can't begin to describe all my feelings. But I am fearfully, prayerfully, and elatedly preparing for this new beginning. Pray for me, an unworthy sinner!

Just an update...
My fiancee and I are to be chrismated on Holy Saturday next year, during the Pascha services that evening. She has chosen (or was chosen by, if you like) St. Sophia of Ainos, mother of orphans, and I have chosen (was chosen by :)) St. Seraphim of Sarov.
Anxiously awaiting chrismation now and stuffing my head with catechesis materials. :)
