I meant to reply to you on the other thread, but didn't get a chance.

As I'm sure you've noticed, El Paso is heavily RCC. The majority of churches are either RCC, Lutheran or Presbyterian.

A few baptist churches around the area are:

First Baptist
805 Montana St.
915-533-1465

Antioch Baptist
9350 Dyer St.
915-751-6491

Full Gospel of El Paso
5318 Harlen Dr.
915-751-9191

Hillcrest Baptist
4710 Hercules Ave.
915-755-0400

NorthGate Baptist
5505 Will Ruth
915-757-0313

Mt. Olive Baptist
718 la Paz Dr.
915-591-5244

Rosedale Baptist
506 Hunter Dr.
915-598-0892

Unfortunately, God moved me all the way to MS before He saved me, so I really don't know much about the churches in El Paso. Remembering from when I grew up there, if you visit some in the NorthEast part of town, you'll probably find them to be more conservative. Those closer in to base would probably tend to be more liberal.

I hope you find a good church home there. I know you're having a difficult time right now, and you're in my prayers.

Thanks everyone. We finally found one the fourth one we visited and it is Mountain View on Hondo pass. Every one is so friendly and it is not overly large. It has a small church feel to it even though the church structure itself is big.
