Can a Murderer Go To Hevan?

I was thinking today about something I read a short while ago, Ted Bundy, we all know who he is, reportedly was saved before he was excecuted, will he be in Hevan?

I believe he will be, I believe if the Holy Spirit truly entered him he will absolutely be in Hevan and what an awsome thing that is, what a testimony. God can enter the heart of such a man and soften him, not only that but instantly forgive him for all he'd done, a person like that. There is hope for all.

The only sin that there is no forgivness, the sin against the Holy Ghost. All others can be forgiven.

i dont know if u guys from other states in the US heard about the 3 boys last year who killed of the sets of parents at their work in hastings mn ((Clayton, Matt, and Jaime)) well these were all close friends of mine, and i know that they are all going to be going to heaven because they all have asked for repentance for what they have done and i know that God will bless them despite the horrific thing they did here on Earth...

I am so thankfull that we have such a forgiving Lord, someday we will all be with him in Hevan.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation,

If someone was guilty of murder, but is now in Christ, he has a new heart and is no longer a murderer.

Murder is no longer in his heart.

If someone is guilty of adultery, but is now in Christ, he has a new heart and is no longer an adulterer.

Adultery is no longer in his heart.

Remember that Jesus said one need not commit the act to be guilty of the sin. Sin is committed first in the heart. A man with murder in his heart will not enter heaven, even if he never actually murdered anyone.

A man who is an adulterer in heart will not enter heaven even if he has never splept with anyone other than his wife.

Rememeber Jeffery Dahmer? He murdered at least 17 boys and also committed acts of necrophilia and cannibalism.

He reportedly came to Christ in prison. He was subsequently murdered in prison.

I recall a conversation I had with a woman about this. She was horrified to think that Dahmer could have been forgiven and be allowed in heaven. She said that she didn't want to be in heaven if Dahmer was going to be there.

Her problem was that she thought it was unfair; that there was no justice in it. But, really, where is the justice in him having been sent to prison? Was there real justice in his death? Can his one death make up for the multiple lives he took?

The real justice poured out upon Christ at Calvary. He, the eternally righteous one, the only sinless one, took the penalty of all our sin upon himself; yours, mine, Jeffrey Dahmer's, Ted Bundy's - anyone's who would come to Him.

My Bible tells me that all sin except two can be foregiven:

"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." -Mt. 12:31-32 (KJV)

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

Neither will rejection of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior:

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God...He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." -Jn 3:18,36 (KJV)

Exactly! It is God who knows the heart.

We don't know what is in anyone's heart. We can only see someone's actions. We determine if someone is a Christian by what they say and do. Not God. He judges truly.

I believe if you truly repent, ask God for forgivness and invite him into your life you will go to heaven. God does not hold grudges. Once you ask for his forgiveness that's it, as far as he's concerned it's forgotten.

Hard as it is to understand in our humanness those who we consider the consummate evil (i.e. Hitler) can experience heaven if they are truly repentant and confess Christ as Lord and Savior.

I'm guessing that when we get to heaven we'll be so busy worshipping God in person that we won't be concerned whether or not Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer or Hitler are there worshipping God also.

It is up to God to determine salvation. God is the only one who can see the true intent of a person's heart. It is God who regenerate's the fallen (via the Holy Spirit) and adopts that person.

Can He forgive a murderer? Yep! But Ted had an poorly controlled compulsion to kill. A hatred for women. He was a necrophiliac besdies - going back to the scene and visiting his victims. Somehow, I realy doubt that he truly repented of his sins.

Agreed, that is why I said if the Holy Spirit truly entered him, if he was truly repentant he would be reborn, surely he wouldn't be the same person any more.

Even if say a man was truly repentant and accepted Jesus as his saviour, but then gave in to impulses and killed again, then had to repent again. Our wonderful God would forgive him again and the door to hevan would still be open, this man will still have to justify himself to God in Hevan.

Ted Bundy killed over 200 people most if not all women. Upon a visit from a local priest Ted broke down and took the Lord into his heart. He asked for forgiveness. Ask and ye shall recieve. The Lord is good. I believe he's in Heaven.
