Is anyone else in the FAITH program? How long have you been in it? How do you like it? How many in your church are involved in it?

Our church also does the FAITH program. I myself have not done it yet. Personally, I don't feel led to do it. I know God has called many to do it, but it's not for everyone. My ministry is in other areas. :)

My Church has FAITH and I did it for a semester, then I discovered Way of The Master, and FAITH just doesn't appeal to me quiet as much, but it's got it's place.

about 9 regulars and 5 new people each year.... but 4 usually drop out.....

haha, I was asking about faith here because i found the way of the master website and i like that a lot better. i am in faith now and it is fine, but it is hard to go through the whole faith outline with someone that has got kids or things in the house that are distracting. It is hard for them to sit through and pay attention to the whole outline. Way of the master is more upfront and to the point. i really like it.

I'm not familiar with either of these programs. What are they? How can I find information?

I couldn't quite find a website that provides the answer to what the FAITH program is, but I'll try to sum up in my own understanding. It's a program done within churches that equip members on how to evangelize to the community. There is many hours of training and studying to help share the faith. (this part is what's done in our church so I'm not sure if it varies between churches) There is a leader and 2 others that go out once a week to witness to people who have visited our church. If the person invites them into their home, then this team can answer questions this person may have about the church or about God.

I hope this somewhat answered your question...:)

We used F.A.I.T.H. for a few years, now we use L.I.F.E. (Liberty's Institue For Evangalisim), and incorperate the The Four Spiritual Laws (http://www.greatcom.org/laws/english/flash/) now.

F.A.I.T.H. program... just more rubbish to the dung heep, sorry.

The only program I have for the Gospel is... the Spirit, just like Daniel the prophet and Paul the Apostle. These things are vain and stupid. They don't edify, but it's all done in man's strength. The church is not the back bone for the Gospel, God is the backbone to "HIS" gospel. Do what is godly in the flesh, you will end up falling on your heads.

Go back to your roots, go back to when being a Crhsitian was so simple. It didn't involve being enslaved to a "divided" organisation, or going out in the name of that "divided" organisation to bring more people into that "divided" organisation. It had to do with, just by the power of the word and spirit, and wherever and whenever, preaching by the Spirit of God, and through the blood of Jesus, bringing the message with such grace and peace to people who need it. Not about politely going into communities and learning about their Gods and adopting their dumb traditions, but rather going in Spirit. Instructing in meekness those who appose themselve, we are in the world but not of it.

I know I speak strongly against this, but this is me. I dont have time for such folly. Pastors and preachers and teachers, whatever, who take God's word and "SPIRIT" seriously wil know what I am saying. And will understand what I mean when I say: "Preach by the power of Jesus, not your carnal minds."

In Christ

Enter his rest... his burden is "easy"

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
