Seems that the guy that claims to be Jesus has now explained that he is the anti-Christ and that anti-Christ is really a poor translations and now his followers are getting "666" tatoos to match his.

The cults are coming.

Why is it when I see a cult coming out these guys are always in a Penthecostal flavor?

Also, the denial of Christ certainly affects peoples' brains, so they could justify about anything.

I would not be surprised that one of their convincing methods of having some waivering sympathizer to put on the "666" tatoo, would be ... "Just think of it a "999".

You know, if this idiot claimed to be Napoleon or possibly Winston Churchill, he'd be locked up or ignored as the nutcase he is. But no, he claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ and the media goes gaga over him. This is truely a tragedy in the making.

Matthew 24:23-28 Phillips paraphrase

..."If anyone says to you then, 'Look, here is Christ!' or 'There he is!' don't believe it. False christs and false prophets are going to appear and will produce great signs and wonders to mislead, if it were possible, even God's own people. Listen, I am warning you. So that if people say to you, 'There he is, in the desert!' you are not to go out there. if they say, 'Here he is, in this inner room!' don't believe it. For as lightning flashes across from east to west so will the Son of Man's comming be. 'Whenever there is a dead body, there the vultures will flock.'

Right now, the vultures are flocking in Miami.

Oh my gosh it's the rapture! He actually is the antichrist! In 2007, Israel will have been in control of Jerusalem for fourty years! Pat Robertson was right!! Hal Lindsey was right- demons are coming from Io pretending to be aliens!

Lets not start that again...

Story time!!

Apperantly, according to Hal Lindsay, Jupiter's moon Io is a gateway to hell, because it's hot. Demons will come from their in flying saucer-style spaceships, claiming to be aliens. This will probably be after the rapture, so the demon-aliens can help the antichrist explain it away 'scientifically' just like Satan delivered the evolutionist creation myth to Nimrod atop the Tower of Babel (I'm not slamming creationists, but that really is crazy....).

Some quotes:

"Jesus told us to expect "terrors and great signs from heaven [or outer space]" in the last days... We're already seeing some of those manifestatiions, in my opinion. And one of thoseis the phenomenon of unidentified flying objections..."

"I definitely believe there have been accurate sightings of UFOs. There may even have been actual encounters with intelligent beings on these crafts. But, let me reiterate: These creatures as not space aliens. They are demons. And I believe the UFO phenomenon is all part of a Satanic plot to set up a great deception."

(from chapter 4 of Lindsey's Planet Earth- 2000 A.D. .... which actually isn't even a correct way of writing out the year, which should be A.D. 2000....)

Definitely one of the brilliant theological minds of our times...

Sounds like he is mentally ill, but is not Jesus nor the beast as the beast of Revelation 13, & number 666 (http://jesus-survival.com/Revelation-13-Interpreted-beast-666.htm) has already been revealed.

That goes against A LOT of Lutheran practices, too. Reminds me of the SDA study I did. . .*shivers*
