We got a call last night that my Granny's sister is in the ICU in Florida. Her heart had slowed down (WAY DOWN) and Im' not sure what all else is going on.
Also, I got written up at work... and I have my evaluation going on right now and I'mreally praying it doesn't lean into that so much because I was doin sooo well....
Also, I'm not well. It's kind of obvious since i'm online and not at services. I'm in a lot of pain, so i can use some prayer. I don't want to use the muscle relaxers I have. If I can get warm and just rest and not stress I'll be ok and have no need for them. I did great today wtihout any advil and just using an herbal heating pad but I left all that at work.:sorry:
anyway... I'd much appreciate the prayer. :groupray:

Awe, honey. (((huggles))) I said a prayer for you. You know, I myself deal with chronic pain. I try to go as natural as possible. I guess this comes from me being the daughter of a pharmacist & a nurse where meds were always pushed, and my dad abused pharmaceutical drugs. I go as natural as I can & really shun meds sometimes, but there are times when you just have to do what's necessary to help ease your pain. I did pray for you to feel better, but please take the meds if you need them. The added stress of not getting relief can cause other problems, so don't feel too badly if you need to take those meds. (((huggles)))

Thank you guys. Once I got warmer and into bed it mostly went away. I had a lot to do yesterday and still have a lot to do today in prep for moving and the wedding, and it takes a lot out of my back sometimes (lifting, carrying, stress in general or sitting for long periods of time)..
Everything is almost presentable enough to call the movers to come in ;)
Thanks!

When is the wedding? I know it's soon, right?

It's the last week of June- the wedding is on the 23rd after Havdalah. :)
I move one day after, the morning of the 25th
I've purged a lot of things, but I have a lot of things (can you say surrender? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/antsinmypants/Emoticons/surrender.gif LOL)
I've almost three garbage bags full of things to take to the thrift store... toys and clothes.. I cannot believe I had that many stuffed animals! I forgot about them really - and the ones I am keeping are recent gifts or favorites and things I wanted to give to my kids or use as decoration (I am a raggedy ann and andy feind!)
I'm definitely set for dishes until the holidays roll around, then I'll need a set for that. (I want a regular set, a shabbat set and holiday set) - I have a "lounge around" set that I was given by my aunt and a few items I picked up myself... but I hope to not get in the habit of eating around the TV too much so I will keep those put away until lazy days. :)
To say I am ready for vacation is an understatement and a half.

Things aren't so great right now...;
My back has been bothering me yesterday and all today. I've treated it with rest and heat as well as with medication. I went so far as to take a muscle relaxer yesterday and some advil today.
Not much else helps anymore, which is why I hold off on medicating until it just won't go away, because I am allergic to many things that people use to treat the pain (celebrex or other similar items), or what would be prescribed no longer does any good in me (Tylenol or Aleve)
anyway.
My Great aunt isn't doing so hot. she had an episode last night and her doctor has now agreed that she needs a pacemaker. Her husband who has alzheimers and is in a nursing home went for a check up today and has a mass on his lung so they are taking him for a cat scan this friday. Their eldest daughter is sholdering a lot of this, so it has been very stressful as she attempts to move around work and help them out. :(
My Granny (her sister) isn't well either.
She has trouble in the eye she had surgery in (possible cataract now) and she has been feeling very sick as well... but she won't rest when we suggest it. :sigh:
My brother was in a car accident on the way home Thursday night and his car has been totalled out by the car insurance, however the offer he has received is to pay the loan off (about one thousand dollars) and add on 500 for pain and suffering.
My answer wasn't very nice (esp for someone who has been in 5 accidents that weren't my fault) - he needs a new car and that will in no way assist him and his finances are very tight right now.
Please pray my brother has the sense G-d gave him and hire on the lawyer we have hired before to assist him in getting a better deal.
thanks

My aunt coded tonight for a short while....
My cousin didn't know that it had happened (wasn't notified!!!) except that she had called in to check on her mother and found out that they were working on her at the time.
I'm not sure why they are waiting to do the pacemaker surgery until Thursday when they told them yesterday or today they could do an external pacemaker until the surgery (and they haven't!)...
They don't know if she had another stroke or if it was her heart, but I do know that they did do some extensive work to bring her back. :sigh:
I don't know what we'll do if something happens, unfortunately granny can't drive and i'm not sure if my mom could handle the trip :(

got an update on my brother's injuries in his car accident. He has some difficulty with two discs in his back, and is just before having serious nerve damage.
The car accident was worse than what I thought, and my brother is blessed to be able to walk away from it with 'just' back trouble.
He is complaining of his foot tingling now.. :(

 :groupray: I am sorry. It sounds like you have a lot going on in your life right now.
Life can be that way sometimes.:sigh:
It is good that we have the Lord with us.:amen:
I pray that He will be comfort, peace, hope, faith and health to you and to your family. :prayer:
