I have a heap right now, currently planning the wedding for June... I'm using a few traditional songs such as Od Yeshama, and some newer ones...
For the music before we come in as everyone is seated, and as everyone files out of the sanctuary & while we take photos - I have classical music (instrumental only - example "Fur Elise", Bach's "Air"...) and some really old hymns (instrumental only - example "thou and thou only") to play.
I've got a few songs here and there by Messianic artists that I am asking if it is ok to play and I've picked a few songs by an artist named Yerachmiel as well :)
No wedding march, no anything like it.
I do have a few songs that have lyrics we will play other than Yerachmiel's, but those are pop songs that we share in common such as "at the beginning" (from the animated movie Anastasia) which we want to play as our recessional.
There will also be Messianic artists thrown in for some congregational dances.
AS of yet, I have found no Messianic Artists with wedding music, I've just picked and chosen songs that we like that have good meaning and would flow well with everything.

Thank you so much for the ideas
Any one know if there are any online stores for listining to samples of music?

I wrote a love song for my wife that has been used at a lot of weddings. It isn't necessarily "messianic" though.
I once played a wedding for this couple who had been living together for years...had 2 kids...then the mom came to faith.
The "man" was very rich. He owned the house that was Bobby Ewing's on the show "dallas" and they were to be married in it.
So the music team worked up a bunch of songs for it but he didn't want us to play during the processional. We figured he'd do canned "Here comes the bride" or something
But to everyone's utter shock he played Sinatra's "I Did It My Way"
I don't think they are still together....

Did you play it for her at your wedding?
What is the name of the song? Can I get a hold of it anywhere??
Thanks,
