Anyone know a source where one can read the so called Altered Augsburg Confession in English. Online would be great, but even a book reference would be appreciated.
I'd like to read how Melanchthon revised it to deal with the issues that were so changed even from the few short years from the original.

I haven't been able to find a link to the Variata.
It was revised by Melanchton to reflect his more comprimising nature. The Variata was actually signed by John Calvin.
Because of the doctrinal changes made in the Variata, Lutherans reject the work in favor of the original Unaltered Augustana.

I found lots of articles about why the Variata was not accepted by Confessional Lutherans, but no sight that allows one to peruse the documents.
