Lets not forget folks, tonight, three weeks early, we turn our clocks ahead one hour. We don't want to "sleep in" and miss Sunday School.

God Bless

Till all are one.

I may have to miss evening service because of this.

It is a busy season on our farm. We have been starting at daylight (7:00 - 7:30) and working to 4:30 - 5:00. With the time change I can't start till 8:00 - 8:30, which means we won't finish till 5:30 - 6:00.

Evening service starts at 6:30. Not enough time to shower, change and get there.

I was late to church, and they had changed the song order, I thought they were 2 hours ahead and ready to leave, cause they were singing what was printed as the closing hymn.....turns out I was only 10 minutes late......

and yes, does this "Gentile Reminder" apply to Jews? or do they use a different Clock, in addition to a different calender? I have to ask, because it's supposed to be spelt "Gentle".....

Perhaps this belongs in a separate thread, but I am curious--What (if anything) do you do if you notice a regular attendee at your church misses a few services with no explanation? Do you call and issue a gentle reminder, inquire from another member or figure it's none of your business, or something else?

I think it would be appropriate to make a call just to make sure everything's OK.
