Also, who do you think is the nuttiest? There are so many nuts, I can't decide on the nuttiest. One guy sits with an American flag behind him, and an eagle statue beside him. He answers letters in a way out to lunch fasion. I think it's called shepherds chapel. As far as my favorite, Personally, I really like Charles Stanley. Although I think he's baptist denominational, he seems to be very wise in the areas of God.

You know that guy you just explained who answers letters, is the the one that I truly think is great. Hes so old fashioned, and has some great music and good solid answers, so he would have to be my favorite ;)
BENNY HINN for sure I think is the nutiest or falsest, whichever.

There isn't one I really like, though Billy Graham seems to be the best of the bunch.

Popoff has been exposed as a fraud.
I don't get tbn unfortunately, but I saw Hagee once and he was good.
All I see (besides 700 club and I don't watch that) is the Van Impe's!
They are okay. Jack can get wild, but I like their preaching. he knows every verse and where it is, all memorized!

I like Billy and David Jeremiah!
As for most nutty, not enough time to list them.

As a general rule I dislike televangelists intensely, however the ones I dislike the least and can listen to for more then 5 minutes without wanting to break something are Billy Graham and Joyce Meyers.
Nuttiest would have to be Pat Robertson by a mile.

He's not really a televangelist, but I do like Dr. Gene Scott. While I don't agree with him about everything, he does a really great job of breaking down scriptures by looking at what they said in the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, as well as looking at how they've been translated (ie, interpreted) into different languages, to suss out all the implications of a particular passage.
Anyone who does faith healing or teaches prosperity gospel is in the running for nutty, imho.

Another nut, Paul Crouch
"God, we proclaim death to anything or anyone that will lift a hand against this network and this ministry that belongs to You, God. It is Your work, it is Your idea, it is Your property, it is Your airwaves, it is Your world, and we proclaim death to anything that would stand in the way of God's great voice of proclamation to the whole world. In the Name of Jesus, and all the people said Amen!" (Paul Crouch, TBN, 11/7/97)
Anti-intellectual, anti-doctrine: "I think God's given up on a lot of that old rotten Sanhedrin religious crowd, twice dead, plucked up by the roots. I think they're damned and on their way to hell and I don't think there's any redemption for them...the heresy hunters that want to find a little mote of illegal doctrine in some Christian's eye and pluck that little mote out of their eye when they've got the whole forest in their own lives and in their own eyes. I say to hell with you! Oh hallelujah. Get out of God's way, quit blocking God's bridges or God's gonna shoot you if I don't! I refuse to argue any longer with any of you out there. Don't even call me. If you want to argue doctrine, if you want to straighten out somebody over here, if you want to criticize Ken Copeland for his preaching on faith, or Dad Hagin. Get out of my life! I don't even want to talk to you or hear you. I don't want to see your ugly face! Get out of my face in Jesus' name." (Paul Crouch, "Praise-a-thon" broadcast on TBN, recorded 4/2/91)

I like the Way of the Master show because they seem very genuine in their preaching of the gospel. It seems to me that they basically only focus on the saving people from hell aspect, which I think is limited and not the complete gospel, but all in all, they seem very genuine.
I do not like those people sitting in the gold thrones on TBN.
Isn't there something in Rev. about gold thrones and it being a sign of being false or something?
I don't like the Creflo Dollar show - I have seen him give lots of funny anecdotes, but not say much about the Lord.
I don't like any of the ones where they are preaching prosperity and asking for money.

Dear Lord....You must be joking?
Favourite? I jest...there is so much trivia. But Benny has blessed me, so I have to stand by that.

Thought I'd chime in. I like Billy Graham, as well. The guy I was describing, who IMO is a nut is Dr. Murray. I watched him a little bit last night, for kicks. He thinks blasphemy of The Holy Spirit means when one of God's elect doesn't allow The Holy Spirit to speak through them. Yeah. Thanks alot guy. Way to preach garbage. I shut him off pretty quickly.

Oh are you talking about Jesse Duplantis?? I LOVE him! He is a little nutty but in a good way :)

Yes, Jesse Duplantis is a little nutty in a good way!
I hear a lot of good teaching from him, and Ken Copeland, and Creflo Dollar, and Joyce Meyer... yet all of those are Word of Faith people... with whom I disagree on several key points of theology.
There was no one better than Billy Graham for evangelizing when he was at his peak, but I don't really need evangelizing anymore.
Dr. Charles Stanley is good. Too conservative for me, but very sound and a good teacher.
Perry Stone can't be beat for the sheer amount of information he crams into a half hour, and his delivery is entertaining.
I'm going to have to say Joyce Meyer is my favorite, because she's given me more practical stuff I can use than anyone else.

I like Chuck Swindoll and Joyce Meyer. Chuck's method of teaching breaks Scripture down and he finds ways to apply it to modern day life. As for Joyce Meyer, I like her personality and the ways she teaches Scripture.

Billy GRaham by far is the best, although I wouldn't really call him a televangelist. I also like Perry Stone. I like to watch the show Quick STudy with Ron Hembre.
The ones off base...Benny Hinn, Arnold Murry, Paul Crouch top the list.
