What is the difference between a non-denominational church and a multi-denominational church?

I think it has to do with multi churches, the members hold to each's own "traditions" while non churches do not really hold to "traditions" as much as they do just God's word.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but that is my view of it as of today.:)
