Are there any sabbath keepers here? saturday?
I do not keep a sabbath on Saturday. I am in the restaurant business and that is one of the busiest days. I try to keep a sabbath on my days off, at least one of them, where I do no work. I wish so much that I could work for the Lord instead of the restaurant business. I know that God does not give us more than we can handle, but worldly men usually do. I get so stressed out at work, because of the work they heap up on me, but I always make it through. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, I know, and without Him I would go insane.

I like to consider all days as the Sabbath . If I did choose a weekly one , it would most likely be Saturday and Sunday would be my last choice .

Sunday is my sabbath, but I am in the military and sometimes I have to work that day. Don't always have a choice in the matter.

Yes, I think when we pick up our cross and follow Jesus Christ, we enter His rest. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. So, if picking up your cross means entering His sabbath(rest), and it is done every day, then every day is a sabbath in Christ. Make sense? Every thing we do, we do to the Lord, whether that is deciding not to work, or going to get that donkey out of the pit on a Saturday. The disciples ate on the sabbath, and Jesus Christ healed on the sabbath, and the disciples did not fast on particular days, for they were with the Lord. When the Lord was taken, then they fasted. So, if we feel we aren't close to the Lord, and He has been taken, though He does not forsake us, this is when we fast. I have been in preparation to fast, skipping meals as I am working, maybe pretty soon I will be able to fully fast, though it should be done in secret, so don't tell anyone okay. haha. God bless you, and please give me feedback whether this sounds right or not.

I don't know what is right for you and what isn't . For *me* , the kingdom of the Lord isn't about eating or drinking but about righteousness , peace , and joy with the Holy Spirit . That whole fasting or not fasting thing would be a lot of work for me - no resting involved .
Again , I can't tell you if it is for you or not .
