I have noticed a "feature" of the threading which makes things a little more difficult to moderate fairly:
Namely, that when a moderator replies in a flame war, in such a manner to not name specific posters, one can see, in the threaded view, which post the moderator replies to.
The problem with this is that it makes the moderator's post a little less impersonal and makes it more possible to take a given moderator post personally.
