I went ahead & voted no, but just wanted to mention one important fact.

It doesn't matter if everyone on the planet voted yes - that abortion was ok. People's opinions NEVER change the Truth of God's word & commands as they stand.

So even if 99% of the 'christian' population said a lot of sinful things weren't sinful, they'de simply be WRONG & end up answering to God about it. We all stand before the judgment seat of Christ to give account - popularity polls don't count there. :bow:

The poll is too simple of one.

For example what do you do if a pregnant woman was in a car crash and and the baby was in distress. Because of the severity of the injuries there is no way to save both the mother and child. Who do you save?

I would vote no. But it would matter if 99% of Christians said it was not a sin. We would then have to re-read scripture, pray, and re-examine our own beliefs to find if we were the ones in error. Although the majority of sin is laid out clearly in the bible there are still some grey areas.

There are women who are not raped yet don't want their children, that's what adoption is for. For someone specifically raped, why punish the child for the sin of the father? Why not put it for adoption as well?

God is the author of life, and He has givenevery single individual supreme value. Each life—whether inside or outside the womb—should therefore be valued by us. God knows the plans He has for each individual and has written in His book all the days ordained for us before one of them came to be. When we presume to know better than God who should be given life, we are putting ourselves in the place of God and are guilty of idolatry.
