Due to a bit of a sanfu with the powers that be I'm probably on my way towards a permanent ban. Just didn't want to disappear without saying it's been a real blast talking, arguing, or whatever with all of you.

OTW, appeal anything you can then take a break from apologetics and stick around!
The problem with being in an ecumenical setting is that sometimes this means we can not speak what we believe to be the full truth without being in trouble. (Not just "us" as in EO's, btw, but all branches of Christianity that hold differeing perspectives.)
There are times when it is worth a bit of trouble to speak the truth. I have always admired your courage to do that.
Yet, I think you have done so much good here at CF that I genuinely wish you would appeal anything you can (if needed bring in Fr. Gregory) so that you could continue to have such a good result of your type of evangelism.
So many people have found out the truth about what we believe from you, leading them to consider conversion. This is such a worthwhile endeavor!

Hope you gain some good from this while you're gone, if that happens! We must take the chances we get to only improve our method and manners while offering the Truth in love!

OTW, what XR said. I have felt frustrated by the policies on this board at times, but it's a ministry. I'm a lousy "minister", no doubt, but God can still use any of us.
Plus I've enjoyed having you on my side in regards to dhimmitude. :D

That's quite true. I've noticed that good decorum, while not always successful at defusing opponents' anger, at least allows me to walk away from a contentious discussion with my dignity.

Watch the movie THE SOUND OF MUSIC and listen to the song when they are leaving the stage in preparation for their attempted escape.

Good-bye in German.

Yes, OTW, please do appeal.
Contact Crazy Liz too.

I echo what Akathist says. If you think you have grounds for appealing, do so. Joykins is a great concilliator and I highly recommend you contact her. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

I hope that you'll stick around more. You seem to be a nice fellow.
God bless!
Edit: I've just read your "incriminating" posts and I don't think you were out of line... so probably we'll still see you around. :)

It's literally "till again see." :)
I want to see these incriminating posts, too. I don't want to go poking around GT or wherever, so what's the link? Maybe we can petition the PTB or something....
