Today wasn't the first time I've been to an Orthodox Liturgy, but the Church was very nice. Meet with the priest, Fr. Armstrong, afterwards, very nice man. Lent me several Lent related books (fun with words, aren't I witty) and answered all the questions I had so everything looks good.

Glad it went well!
Do you mind sharing what area or part of the country you're in?

Glad you were well taken care of! So what books are you reading for Lent? We're always curious about that.

Sorry, but we tend to be "nosy" with some things! :D

The Denver-metro area, Church I went to is in Littleton. Starting out with "Great Lent: Journey to Pascha" By Fr. Schmemann, and I've got a couple others that I forgot to bring in from the car.

As long as you don't want to give me more bread we'll be okay.

Sounds like you were really well welcomed then!
Hopefully you're better with hiccups than I am... LOL!

Oooooh - I just started reading that this afternoon, too. I've had it for awhile but hadn't opened it til today.
