Welcome, YadaYadaYada! Were they out of consonants when you went to buy your new user name? :D

Wouldn't it be fun if we all changed our user names and didn't tell anyone who was who and left it for everyone to figure out? HA! :D

Your signatures would give you away!
Then again, I have a photographic memory.

I have changed my name 3 or 4 times and everyone always knows who I am, lol!

Well Michael, no one else on CF has a top-hat, water balloons, and prayer rope all at once. :D

You Lutheran/former Lutheran-types seem to be partial to the old name. Jim47 liked it better, too.
However, the new name is not as frivolous as it may first appear. It reminds me about what is important and what is not when it comes to CF. A lot of what's on Christian Forums is a lot of yada yada yada. (Of course, you may not be familiar with this term if you never watched Seinfeld.) The same stupid, nitpicky insanity over and over ad nauseum - so much so that it doesn't even need to be said anymore - it can just be summed up with yada, yada, yada.
So I'm reminding myself not to get caught up in it, and to focus on serving Christ, and not get sidetracked in petty bickering over minutiae. I'm also reminding myself not to take my own thoughts too seriously (contriteheart was a pretty serious name!) I want to remember that my own thoughts about things are often a lot of yada, yada, yada, too.

Yada is the Hebrew word for "to know." It occurs over 900 times in the Old Testament.
So I guess your new username means you're a know-it-all! :D

You would have to change your member profile, too.
