My sister is very sick

She's had respitory failure and is on a resperator. She lives in Kansas and I live in Florida. I don't know that I will be able to get there to be with her but right now they don't expect her to live through the night. :prayer: She's only 48.

Update: Last night she was moved to a larger hospital in Joplin, MO, that could meet her needs better. I got a call tonight that she is now on life support :cry:

Another CF'er has blessed me with the plane tickets to go see my sister. I leave Tampa at noon today and will arrive in Joplin at 5:30. I have to be back to work on Monday but at least I'll have a little time with her. Thank you all for your continued prayers.:prayer:

My sister is heavily sedated so that the machine can do all the work for her. They say she is holding right now...she's not getting better but she's not getting worse either. She has a build up of water and they are working to get the water off of her plus she has lost 15 pounds (she's extremely overweight). While I was there today she did open her eyes and look at me. I was glad for that.
