I have realized that the different Christian groups have different understandings of what it means to be born-again and to be saved.
I am not really sure how to word these questions, but I want to know which groups' understanding of being born-again is that Christ lives in them.
So, I am asking this in several of the different groups.
Do you believe that when you are born-again, Christ Himself as the Holy Spirit enters into your human spirit and dwells in you?
If so, do you experience Christ living within you and what is that experience like?
What do you believe God's purpose for man is?
Thank you.

I am concerned about your comment here. Is it your contention that Jesus the second person of the Trinity is the same person as the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity?

That is an interesting question and someone else mentioned something similar to that on another place where I posted this question.
The purpose of my question is to find out if other people have living experiences of Christ, not about the trinity.
Anyway, my understanding of the trinity may be a bit different because I was Jewish for most of my life.
The Bible clearly tells us there is only one God.
We see, in the New Testament and it is forshadowed in the OT, that this one God is in three persons.
He is God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
But, He is only One. There are not three gods, but one God in three persons.
1 Cor 8:4 tells us in the New Testament there is no God but one.
Matthew 28:19 says "Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. One name, not names.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
Christ, as the Son is still all of God. Colossians 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
The Spirit is God. John 4:24 God is Spirit...
1 Cor. 15:45...the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.
It is difficult if not impossible to explain how God is and how He functions because He is a mystery.
But, He is one God. The Father is the Son is the Spirit.
When He dwells in us as the Spirit, He does not leave the Father and Son behind somewhere.
Christ dwells within us as the Spirit.
At least that is my understanding.
Now, do you know that God dwells within you and do you turn to your spirit where He dwells and contact Him and experience Him?

I thank you for sharing your thoughts I do disagree that the Holy Spirit is Jesus but I do agree they are the same essence.
