Since I am growing weary of the numerous anti- KJO threads (if you don't agree with KJO dont' be one seems pretty simple) I have decided to open an unrelated thread.

How many have you had the opportunity to witness to this week? How many have you been fortunate enough to share the Gospel with? If you did have this opportunity did you use a specific method such as the Romans Road?

I was able to share the Gospel in depth with three people this week. Two have come back to me with sincere questions, and are seeking.

Had a great time sharing the Gospel and talking about spiritual things with one of my part-timers this week.

Tried to share the Gospel with somebody here on RCF but got a warning for it.
Is there any more satisfying feeling than sharing the Gospel? Witnessing is a priviledge not a chore. Mike have you ever used Tracts?

Only one person, and when he finally had to admit the Bible contains information that was impossible to know for those who wrote it (like fountains of fresh water under the sea ect>) he suggested that theyprobably got that information by talking to extra-terrestials. I lost interest at that point.

My sister in law buys into the whole Aliens thing.

Does anyone here use tracts?

I have in the past and am considering using them again. (Mind you I use them only when I am not there to speak for myself such as leaving them in certain places.) If I am there I prefer to speak to people.

I tried to write a Christian sci-fi once where the lead character is portrayed initially as living in a represseive theocracy. As the story moved fowards, we find he believes the theocracy was instituted by extraterrestials. In reality, it is the end of the Millenium Kingdom, and JC sits on the earthly throne of a yet still fallen Earth. Satan has been released, and because JC and His ministers are immortal and have fantastic powers, Satan is spreading the lie that humanity is subjugated by space aliens posing as resurrected people. Our protagonist learns too late he is opposing the true Kingdom of God as the entire world is engulfed in the final cataclysm.

Sort of a post-left behind, pre-Eternal Judgement scenario.

Did you finish it?

Sounds like an interesting read.

I witnessed today to a 50 yro crackhead prostitute. I'm a cop and one of my partners pulled over a car w/ several known drug users in it. I asked her why is she driniking and looking to buy crack at 9am? She told me that she was just drinking becasue she has so many problems that the alcohol and drugs help her relieve her of the inner pain. I told her basically that only God can relieve her of her pain and that the only sure way she can turn her life around was to trust and accept Jesus.

I talked to her for about 10-15 minutes and she was very receptive and thankful that a cop would talk to her about such things. I then gave her a Gideons NT Bible and she glowed with joy. She said she never received a Bible from a cop before. I just kept reiterating that she can turn her life around and that so many people in her situation have done so before. I pray that she does read it and gets saved.:prayer:

Also, I don't mind the KJV discussions/debates or am I the only one. I pick up some good info from them.

I tire of them after time. There have been several others than the recent ones. After a while I don't even pay attention anymore except for what I have to do to mod.

There is good info to be had in the KJVO debates, so long as you don't take this info to an extreme and unreasonable conclusion. For example, with me, I prefer the KJV because of info I've gleaned in the past, but I'd hardly say that the other versions are useless or you can't "get saved" from reading the Gospel in them. I'd most certainly never say that churches which prefer other versions are apostate, as some have claimed. I think you'll find that of those on this forum who also prefer KJV, most of them have a similar view to mine........er, hopefully, that is. Guys?

I kind of want to steer this back around to the OP folks and away from the KJO.

How many?

Had the chance to witness a couple times this week. I am actually disappointed in my laziness this week.

Any other reports?

Mike how about your part-timer?
