I want to talk with other Messianics who are also married to Christians. I cannot be the only one who considers this to be quite difficult at times. If you will, would you please share with me. I would appreciate a listening ear and I am more than willing to lend a listening ear.

I just want to give you a big
I grew up in a family with a Catholic mother and Presbyterian father... and I imagine some of the issues that came up in that match also come up in the Messianic/Christian match.
I hope others who are in such situations will lend encouragement :)

Thank you, Eirene, for the hug. I do hope to hear from someone about this soon.

I consider myself Messianic and my husband is a born and raised Christian. I wish that both my husband and I were on the same page in our faith, but actually, we never have been, even when I shared his beliefs. My husband is very content to basically be a "surface" Christian - he doesn't go very deep with God and he is quite content.
I learned long ago that, when it comes to my husband's faith journey, the best thing I could do is concentrate and be faithfull in my own relationship with Abba and just pray.
My husband is supportive of what I have been learning and my journey into observing the Holy days and Torah. And I have changed what I serve at our table for dinner and no one has even noticed.;) I am thankful that I have a husband that encourages me on my own road.
Yes, I feel lonely sometimes. I wish that there was a Messianic congregation close by that I could attend, but Abba knows my needs and desires and I trust him. You just never know what's up the road a little:)
And I am thankful for the people here that I have learned so much from. I have some great resources from FFOZ and I am not trying to rush it too much. I am just trying to rest in my Abba and allow him to direct my path.
May Abba bless you as you continue to live for him and may he bring your husband(and mine too:) ) into a greater understanding of who He is.:prayer:http://www3.christianforums.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I would say that my husband was also a christian taking very little baby steps towards becoming messianic. He has never taken the time to do much study of the Torah but I yabba on about what I've discovered and he lets me. Sometimes it is annoying being on a separate page but he is Jewish by blood so he isn't as against it many "christians" are.
Mela'h what do you do about community without a messianic congregation nearby? Do you go to church? What type? And if so how have you found their response to be?
