By letting me honestly tell you what I think of the following paragraph:

On Mary:

"The significance of the title "Dispenser of all graces" can be copulized in these words: Mary's motherly love embraces all mankind and God fulfills her every request. We may futher state that God, not bound by any internal necessity, but simply to honor his Blessed Mother, decreed in his providential plan to distribute all graces through the Blessed Mother. Without her intercession, no one recieves any supernatural help" (emphasis original, Dogmatic Theology for the Laity, pg 195).

So just interpret this smiley: :o

Have you ever read "Fifty years in the Church of Rome"? If you haven't then I recommend it.

hmmm, that book was published in 1977, 30 years ago. Couldn't find a more modern one?

I was able to find a download of it online. Spelling errors abound the result of manual copying I suspect. It gives an interesting view of the Catholic Church from a person who spent the first 50 years of his life as a Catholic, even becoming a priest, followed by 40 years as a protestant. The book is not without it's controversy and Charles Chiniquy makes no effort to hide his bias.

Let's see, here. Can't use the "B" word cause that might hurt someone's feelings. :P Can't use the "H" word cause that might offend somebody. :sigh: Can't use the "Un-S" word cause nobody seems to care about being "Un-S" anymore. So, the smilies have to tell the truth on this one.... :help:

 for so many that believe God needs a human to dispense grace.

Picked it up from a book vender at a flea market along with the complete plays of Gilbert & Sullivan.

The only Catholic texts I purchase are ones with the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur and so I have confidence in the book. The age of a theology text does not diminish its quality. It merely lacks insight into some of the more modern thinking.

So just interpret this smiley: :oWow. I wonder how they can prove that.

Interestingly (at least to me), there is a word "copula" which is used in linguistics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copula) and statistics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copula_%28statistics%29), to link one thing to another. Without commenting on the theological soundness of the doctrine expressed in the OP:holy:, I can definitely see where it might be considered a series of linked statements.

The joy of English is that we can make verbs from almost any other word.

Or, of course, it could just be a typo in the original document...

;)
