:clap: My girlfriend just called to say that she is registering on this forum right now. So I want everyone to give her a big welcome. I do not know her forum name yet.... Hopefully she will find this thread and post letting us know her name.

Sorry for the confusion. I looked around for a name that was not in use and just did not stumble on your wife's name - Ahavah.

But then I am a newbie.

I could not reply in private nessage format - have to have at least 5 posts. This is only my third.

Just got this email from my girlfriend....This is where you told people I was registering and was before you had my on line name of ahava.

It seems every other reference to me had been erased.

I feel that one would have been erased except it did not have my name in it.

Go look. (as of this writing it is on page 11 or however many and probably will be page 11 or 12 by in the am).

There is not even enough left for me to tell who it was that said I could not use the name ahava.

They erased anything associated with me.

The monitor that said I was to change names was supposed to send me an email with some names for me to pick from.

She did mention one or two, already in use.

She was supposed to get back with me some more, I am still waiting.

As long as it has been, I must admit I feel a bit unwelcome.

Elaine, the unwelcome does not come from you; it comes from the monitoring staff.

I wish I could remember the name - it just does not come to mind.

vis i think that should be forwarded to Tishri and HadassahSukkot. there's no rule about people sharing the same name on CF, so I don't know why anyone would have told her to pick a new one unless she asked for it.

I have been havin problems keeping logged in lately and am wondering if that is her problem also.

CF's software won't allow duplicate names so her name should be OK. And I'm having problems staying on when I'm posting - sometimes when I'm quoting, if I hit the backspace or the mouse's right click to paste, my whole session is deleted and I have to get back on the internet. Is this what's happening with you, vis?

FYI, I was having some difficulties yesterday and kept having to copy everything I'd write because I'd lose it, saying that Firefox couldn't display the website, or something silly along those lines, but I'd refresh and there it was...

Don't give up, sometimes the internet can be flukey!

Yep....nice to know that I am not the only one to suffer from log in itis.

Everyone.... have sent all your kind messages and love to my girlfriend in hopes that she will give this forum another chance.
I just had this happen in my Yahoo email. So it's not just CF! Wonder what's going on - this just started within the last month? :scratch:
