I get this emailed to me and thought I could share it with ya'll.

You never know what another person may be going through and whether or not something you say is just what they needed to hear.

Forgiving People

If someone has wronged you and then shows sincere regret and asks for forgiveness, what should you do? Go out of your way to do positive things for him that will express your love and concern for him. In this way, you are encouraging him for realizing his mistake and doing the right thing to correct it.

Shalom, have a great day!

Thanks Hadassah, thats a real challenege, but very true - be nasty in reply, and they will think that they did just the right thing to you.:D

that looks like a good rule for parenting, no? if your child apologizes and is truly sorry, love on them and give them hugs and kisses and encouragement. i bet that will make it a much more pleasant experience when they know they have to apologize for doing something wrong.... like positive reinforcement
