Have not been to Church in a long time

Hi everyone.

I need advice/opinions/feedback.

I used to go to pentecostal church (long time ago). A friend recently suggested that I visit a calvary chapel group in my city.

Looks worth a visit. There beliefs look very biblical in basis, which I'm a big fan of!

Read the calvery site info and found the same modern day church man centered way of life on this earth psychology. Just get a shrink if thats what your deing drawn to. Don't mean to sound rude here, just want you to know the truth. A true chuch teaches you of the wickedness of sin, as scripture declares "the wages of sin is death" and of the finished work of Christ on the cross for sinners, not for people with minor flaws.

I pray this would cause you to ask the real tough questions like... How does one know if he/she is truely born again, or am truely a child of Christ? What does repentance mean? Did Jesus make a promise to save all man, but changes His mind and sends some to hell that He promised to save?

Do you want to know what you really need to be looking for in a church? How about the truth? Does it matter?

I suggest try visiting a Catholic Church. Talk to a priest about any questions you may have and attend The mass or "worship service" on sunday at your local Catholic Church. Give the Catholic Church a try! Trust me we don't bite!;)

Looks like a good church to me. Pretty sound doctrinally it appears and reaching people for Christ.
