OK, for some weird reason this link didn't come up at home, i could get it up but it didn't have anything showing on the HTML... so I'm guessing it isn't Firefox friendly or I had some kind of error.
I've got it loaded now, and have read most of the article preceeding the actual video.
I have to say this is a lot of the concerns that my parents and us kids have had since coming back to the USA.. and the concerns of my grandparents who grew a small set of crops every year in their yard (they had a small plot they would rotate crops on in the side of their yard)...
My grandparents said that the seed they purchased wasn't creating seed after reproducing, that was capable of actually bringing forth plant life, and the quality of fruit (or veggie) wasn't as it should be.
When we came back from living overseas, our quality of life went DOWN majorly. It's been almost 12 years since being back, and we've all had a major downwards spiral since... and mainly due to GMO, hormones in meat and milk, and whatever trigger it is that turns on Celiac Sprue after it being in dormancy (and not catching it in us girls especially)..
Such practices are thus far illegal in the EU but moves are being made to allow it.
People that are "pro-organic" and "pro-farming" there make those here that are, look... seriously lacking in conviction ;)
While it is a bit easier in the EU to go GF (gluten free) and easier to find organic food at the same (or near same) cost as the regular crops that are not planted organicly and have pesticides and other chemicals on them; and it is easier to find meat that has not been produced hormonally (if you know what i mean).
Milk that is more natural is a little more difficult to find unless you have connections to people. I keep finding UHT milk, but I cannot find milk that is not homogenized. I cannot digest milk if it has been, because it changes the whole makeup of the milk changing ...
Let's put it this way, if animals cannot digest homogenized milk; what makes us think we as humans can?
When your body (read: intestines) are so damaged you cannot process food right, the big thing you have to stress then are vitamins and minerals, and milk is integral to the diet, whether goat, sheep or cow's milk...
On top of these worries, we have the NAIS registries, that are trying to make hobby farmers (And Four-H clubs) register their herd animals (whether they have one or 4+) with a "national herd" and the rationale is that there could be some kind of disease (Mad Cow or Bird Flu) that is passed from animal to animal; and may the USA/Canada forbid us if we eat such an animal.
It is becoming such that the companies producing food do not want us taking care of ourselves, and are making inroads in with the government to prevent it.
This is a very dangerous road, because there are many of us with dormant (or emerging) genetic diseases that are being triggered by what we eat, or the lack of things we need in our food that has now been removed.
I have raised my own chickens and two turkeys and a duck, and my own turtledoves... We have to take care not only that we eat the food designated in the bible and nothing else (as far as meat is concerned) and that we take care that these food items eat as they should; or it makes our food not kosher all the way around.
I am so sad to see GMO Meat and GMO everything... We are making ourselves god, which is so not good; and gets us right back to where we went wrong at Bavel.

Would you be permitted to have a nanny goat? Goat's milk is wonderful!

Visionary, I do want to thank you for this link, and I will definitely be passing it along.
I was pretty read up on the situation (or so I thought ;)) and after hearing some of this (I am unable to watch, but can listen at work); it has further educated me and I feel that maybe this might be one of the next study projects I go on.
This remonds me of some things I learned about genetic engineering projects from the 30s through the 70s on humans, animals and plants..
Though they claim that gmos weren't released to the public until the last 10 years or so; this really isn't true considering the companies and cross-contamination and cross-pollination.
Also, the pesticides have been a huge concern for me... Coming from a farming-background (well my grandparents on both sides anyway) and from a historical one.
BTW, one of the most misdiagnosed things I have found in the medical community (besides Gluten Intolerance and Celiac Sprue) are outside pollutions to the body... until it is way too late.
Another concern, the medicines that we allow ourselves to take, because the doctor thinks them best. We need to really study and be sure where these things are coming from, what is in them, the test results and if we can find the same "cure" or something better to treat it, naturally.
Again, thank you!

I'm unsure. I have begged and begged to see if I can get a house in the country, but I am unsure I can right off.
I don't really like goat's milk, it doesn't sit right with me.. I think it's just taste, but I've gotten where I have a bad gag reflex now, it's just awful.
It was given to my attention that there is another good film out there that we all need to check out.
"The Future of Food" and deals with this very issue of GMO 'food'. It is a 2 disc set and one of the discs also has information on recipes, on using and preserving heirloom seeds, community supported agriculture, etc. As this is a huge issue for me and my family, I also like to know of new resources regarding it.
Oh, here is the website:

Oh, Antsy - I'm sorry you don't like goat's milk. I thought I would gag also, but when it was chilled I thought it was great. Well, 25 years ago I did! :D

Goats milk purchased in stores tastes VERY different than fresh from the goat milk. I can't stand the store bought stuff, but the other is delicious! Adonai willing we will be getting 2-3 doe kids this spring from one of our congregation memebers that raise Nigerian Dwarf goats (http://www.ndga.org/) (mini dairy goat). You can keep three of in the space that one of the larger dairy goats needs. Very handy especially since goats in general need at least one other goat around to keep them happy. Another plus to these is that they are small enough to use a med-large dog house for shelter.

Awesome Wags, I should try that as soon as I find out the laws & where I will be living.
I found out where I am now, they have a law about "no farm animals" which includes goats on personal property that isn't slated as a farm...

All of this stems back to man wanting to control everything and everybody and think he is G-d.

South Africa has (or maybe used to, ... I'm not sure anymore...) have laws stating no poultry or livestock in a built up residential area (city suburbs) and dogs limited to two. Although we once had a next door neighbour who had seven dogs, an open back door and sandcastles inside and out! My Dad said the place smelt like a zoo.:D
