I choose, I don't know. Only God knows these details. We have an idea of what will happen from the bible. Many things remain a mystery though. We should not worry about it. We are called to live everyday as if it were the last.

I don't believe in the rapture. I believe the church is now going through tribulation and when Jesus returns, that is it. Then the resurrection and judgement occurs. I don't believe in the trib/rapture theology.

I would have to say Pre-trib. The rapture hasn't occured yet and the tribulation of the saints follows that from what I understand. I could be wrong tho.

with reports that there are more martyrs in CHina, Africa, India, Russia, communist countries, in the last 100 years than before, I say the tribulation against christians is now. See www.persecution.com for recent reports and prayer requests for our martyr families.
A prophecy seminar I am watching has shown many people believe a powerful religious organization is the antichrist, the symbolic beast described in Revelation (has one man-the pope at the head who historically has claimed is God's place on earth, has historically persecuted christians-they have since asked forgiveness). It seems to fit all the prophecies, and Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley, CH Spurgeon, etc all agree with this.
Just be ready for Jesus now while He is seeking to save sinners. Waiting til tomorrow could be too late, don't be lazy, love God wholeheartedly!

I voted "don't know, don't care!" but I do sort of care... I just don't know! I have read stuff from different sides, and I can't decide. but I don't think that it matters, for salvation. I think that like origins, we can believe what we want. and ultimately, only God knows what is going to happen and when it is going to happen.

It relates to the tribulation and whether or not the rapture is separate from the end of the world. It also has to do with whether the millenial kingdom is actual, or spiritual.
I believe we are in the millenial kingdom and have bee for almost two thousand years. I also believe that Jesus will return at the end of the world, which will coincide with the rapture. They are not two separate events.

I was taught Pre-tribulation(rapture)...then married into a church that believes post- tribulation.(no rapture) I haven't really studied it out in depth for myself. Since it seems to be so unclear,(God is not the author of confusion) I have come to the conclusion that it's not important to know exaclty when He's coming back, but that He definately is coming back and we just need to be ready whenever it is.

This is a relative thing, I firmly believe that there will be a tribulation and there will be a rapture, now it gets kinda tricky and from here out is just me: Will it be pre, mid or post, I really don't know and don't care as the Lord will do it in His good time and won't really consult our beliefs.
I would love it to be pre, not really looking forward to being here for that, Hope it's at least mid, cause it really goes down hill from there but will accept post as I know if this is Lords will, he will be there, right beside me, holding me up.
Just what I think, can't prove any of it.

I was raised pre-trib and believed it wholeheartedly until a few months ago. Now I'm not sure anymore but I'm pre-trib for now. It could change after I complete a thorough study of it.

I put I don't know.
I was pre-trib. Then I studied into it more because I don't like to blindly follow without reading and studying the Word myself (also).
I know I am not post-trib because I don't see that veiw in the Word of God.
I lean toward mid-trib but I am hoping and praying for pre.
It is scary to think that we would have to go through even part of the tribulation and I've known some people to get offended at the thought that God would allow us to suffer but there have already been believers persecuted for their faith so that doesn't really strike me as a legitimate debate.
The fact is Jesus will come like a theif and no one knows that day (or night for that matter) All believers should watch and pray.

The poll assumes there is a tribulation, and if I am correct, it is assuming specifically a 7-year tribulation. There isn't going to be a 7-year tribulation, folks. The scriptures are clear on this.

You have left out a newer doctrine taking presidence in Christian thinking today. That of pre-wrath. This doctrine of rapture falls close to post trib but is not actually a post trib doctrine. Many who have in the past held to mid trib are leaning to this newer as it seems to be well documented in Revelations and Pauls writings.

I hope all Christians that "qualify" for heaven go UP in the "Rapture" [I Thess.4:13-18 (WHAT HAPPENS), I Cor.15:35-58 (How it happens) "The Rapture"] if they are alive when it happens, BECAUSE IT WILL HAPPEN, JUST A MATTER OF WHEN!
Personally I'm "Pre-Tribulation", & believe scriptures back this view [Noah & his "believing" family were placed IN "The Ark Of Safety", before Echad's/God's Judgement; The children of Israel were placed "under the blood" of a lamb, before Echad/God judged Egypt (type of the world); Rahab & her "believing" family were taken out of Jericho before it was destroyed, likewise Lot & his "believing" family before Sodom's destruction], that's Good News for all who watch for His [Jesus'] reappearing.
Again if Christ was judged for our sins as The [Sacrificial] Lamb Of God who took away the sins of the world [conditioned on our belief/acceptance of Him] as our Atonement/Replacement for our sins, why would Echad/God judge us, in affect, voiding everthing Christ did in sufferring & dying for our sins?
Christ also is our "Ark" of safety, as He embodies all the promises of Echad/God. I'll see some on the return trip. [if you see Jesus coming in the clouds with His Holy Angels & Saints, you've missed it (The Rapture), & will have been fully aware of this fact well before You see Him, if you make it through "The Great Tribulation/Jacob's Trouble"!].
Hope to see You in the clouds someday Soon.

Don't really know. Probably pre-trib, but maybe that's just because I like the Left Behind series so much. In the end, I don't think it will really matter. What happens will happen no matter who believes what. I do think these discussions are good to have, but I don't think that anyone should believe that they "know" what is going to happen or exactly how the end times will play out.

There is an interesting article that I read that I believe well captures the loose details mentioned in the bible of the end times, and applies them. I do not necessarily believe it but I will not be very surprised if it comes to fast. Here's the link if you want to read for yourself (and the explanations for why the statements are made)
(PM me if you want the link, since I do not have enough posts to post the link here)
For those of you that are too lazy to read the article, I'll give you the jist of it.
It combines the prophecy of St. Malarchy (the 112 Popes Prophecy), which states that the lesser tribulation will be within the reign of the 112th pope since St. Malarchy made his prediction. Pope Benedict is the 111th. It states that pretty much the lesser tribulation will be WWIII with the West vs. the Arabs. THe series of events is supposed to start in 2009 (when supposedly the Arabs will unite against the west in a war) and ends in 2040s, with the Arabs defeated and the Christian church united (although not united into 1). It also states that the second coming of Jesus will be in 243...8 I think 2438, assuming that a certain variable is correct. (That the creation of "Israel" in 1947 is what the Bible said would be the returning of the promised land to the Jews)

I believe in Pre-Trib Rapture only because I dont see us as the Church here to see what will go on and for the Anti-christ in my opion will only take over if there is such crisis at hand, such as mass people disappearing and just total chaos and then he will think that is the perfect window to bring people to trust him to restore peace .. Thats my view

Pre-tribualtion.
The church(the saints as a whole) will be caught up with God for eternity before the 7 year tribulation begins.

I believe that the "rapture" and the second coming are one and the same event. Revelation speaks of something called "the first resurrection" and it happens after the tribulation. (Rev. 20:4-5) If the dead in Christ were resurrected in a pre-trib or mid-trib rapture, that would be the first resurrection and Rev. 20 would be the second.

All I know is that Jesus will return like a thief in the night and the Bridegroom will carry off His Bride while we slumber.
Noone will see it coming and the unsaved won't know if it passes them by until the last judgment is upon them. Those who are taken in the Rapture (all of us God willing), will have no knowledge of those "left behind" and those who are left behind will have no knowledge of those who are taken with the Lord.
