In the topic, talk about your bad experiences with SOME churches (if you've had them) and THEN talk about the great experiences you have in church now, and how sometimes it takes a while to find the one that is best suited to your needs. Also... send this woman a PM, offer to pray with her. Tell her you're a CF Angel, and you want to welcome her to Christian Forums. Offer to put her on your buddy list if she want to do that. If she has a guestbook, sign it. Then... IMPORTANT, write her name down on a notepad file (you should be keeping a notepad file of posters that you need to reconnect with occassionally), and contact her once a week, just to say hi, to see how she is, and keep in touch. It would be good if at least 2 of you were doing this. The rest can just welcome her.

I sent a pm to Fletcher84 with encouragement: I read your post in the New Member Intros Sir and I'm sorry you have been hurt by many who call themselves Christians. I hope you've prayed for them because they need it! And I hope you can see a different light in some of the Christians here at CF. No we're not perfect either, yes we like to bicker and fight, but there are MANY wonderful Christians here that I've met. I read something in it last night that truly touched my heart and taught me in having hope for myself and for others and especially in God! Let me share it with you: Trust In the Power of Hope ~*~ Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. ~Proverbs 13:12~*~ I define hope as "the happy anticipation of good things". You can hope for something good to happen to you by learning how to celebrate and enjoy life. Everything in life is a process in motion. Without movement and progression there is no life. As long as you live you are always heading somewhere, and you should enjoy yourself on the way. God created you to be a goal-oriented visionary. Without a vision you become bored and hopeless. But there's something about hope that makes people lighthearted and happy. Hope is a powerful spiritual force that is activated through your positive attitude. God is positive and He wants positive things to happen to you, but that probably won't unless you have hope and faith. Expect God to bring good out of every circumstance in your life. That poor Sister... my heart goes out to wives whose husbands cheat on them. I tried sending her an email but I'd have to do it through a Staff email but idk if I'm allowed to. Her first post was in March 2006, and life isnt looking too pretty for her... she's posted 10 posts since then and her 10th post shows not much improvement. Low Self Esteem (http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=30140402#post30140402)

I really feel she needs CF to chat about stuff and really feel God's love for her through the love and care she recieves from people. Her sporadic posting might show her hope in the site.... she has no friends list nor anything in her guestbook. I've replied in her last thread and added her to my friends list.... I'm going to attempt to write in her guestbook.

Also could people sign/PM/befriend Veganbunny] (http://www.christianforums.com/~veganbunny) I'm not sure if she's been welcomed in yet? I've seen her around and sometimes shes up, sometimes she's down and its clear that she enjoys CF and depends on the fellowship. I'm getting positive feedback from those being contacted..it makes them feel welcomed and also like people are listening..so it can never be to late to send a welcome, or sign a guestbook etc. :-)

Yes you keep a list in Word or Notepad of wo you contacted and what you did, then post it here.
