Just wondering if anyone out there had any involvement in the Unity Church?

I was involved in it a long time ago and am strongly considering returning, especially in light of some family issues.

I know that there is one not far from here. I was heavily involved in it many years ago and I got a lot of good out of it. I quit being involved when I moved out of town.

I will probably try it in January......

Didn't see anything about Unity Church on your Catholic Apologetics page.

The Unity Church seems to be an awesome Christian denomination :) I was reading about it some time ago. I think that for those who are interested it's best to look here: http://www.unityonline.org/

My fiance's brother's wife goes to this church, and has only good things to say about it. It definitely did not sound, from her description, like anything that would appeal to a more conservative or fundamentalist mindset, which is not necessarily a bad thing. ;) However, I'm not entirely sure where they stand theologically on some of the things most Christian orgs. agree on, like the Cross, the Resurrection, who Jesus is, etc. so I'd find out about that first & see if it's compatible w/ your beliefs.

According to what I've read, they have 5 general principles, but apart from that every member is free to have their own beliefs...
