View Full Version : Christ Our Intimate Friend

"If we really believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is our salvation, then we will have the assurance that He is the centre of our daily life. If He is our salvation then He is also our most intimate friend. No man can claim to be saved if he does not have the assurance that he is born-again. No man has entered into a intimate relationship with Jesus Christ nor walks the highway to Heaven with Him unless he has invited Jesus Christ into his heart.
As two friends walking hand in hand depicts their tender affection for each other, so our life style will show our born-again relationship with Christ our Saviour. If we do not walk different from the World then our love can be truthfully doubted by all who know us." Anonymous.

Amisk my dear brother.
Got a suggestion for you.
You keep coming up with these pieces of wisdom and food for thought. The problem is that many of them do not require much of a response apart from maybe, Hallelujah.
As a result the threads tend to slip down the list rather quickly and are soon lost to us unless we go digging.
Why not post these in the 'Thought for the day' thread (I bumped it for you).
That will keep them all together in one place and allow us to have easier access to them.

Thanks for your kind words. I may give it a try but there doesn't seem to be much activity there.

You're right, there doesn't
Thats where you come in
You not only get all your 'nuggets' in one place and easily accessible, but it keeps the thought for the day thread alive as well, and will hopefully encourage others to use it.
Better to have just a few oft used and active threads than dozens of inactive ones.
I took the liberty earlier of going through the Cyber Corps thread list and copying the OP of most of your threads into the 'Thought for the day' thread.
Hope that was OK
