Just wanted to get myself some attention ;)
I've been thinking tonight about the responsiblity of being part of the Welcome Angels.
Actually, it is not a responsibility, but a gift. And I am grateful for it.
This is a special group because we often get to be the first people who meet new members.
Remember your first days here when you got your first hello? Or your first blessings or character items? I remember how lovely that was. Just to know that someone out there was thinking of me.
Even when I'm busy, I try to bless newbies or sign a guestbook just so they know they are not unnoticed and someone is happy they are here.
You never know what is going on with someone who has just signed up here. Sure, we get some trolls:P But we also get a large number of new Christians and this might be their first contact with other Christians. We also get many people who are lonely and need a friendly ear- even if that ear is 'just on the internet'.
For whatever reason someone is here, let's be joyful that they've found us. Every single new member could be a new friend gained. And you can never have too many friends. But even if you don't get to know them well, at least take a moment to say hello.
